The Wyoming Department of Agriculture is proud to host the 106th Annual conference of the Western Plant Board.  The conference will be held in the thriving, historic town of Sheridan, WY.   Sheridan is situated on the eastern slopes of the majestic Big Horn Mountains and Cloud Peak.  Small in size compared to many cities in other states, Sheridan is one of the larger communities in Wyoming with a population of 20,000.  It has western allure, hospitality and good graces coupled with a vibrant art scene and bombastic craft culture.

There are only two flights a day  between Denver, CO and Sheridan, WY with limited seating.

Denver to Sheridan (May 4th & 5th):

Departure:  8:00 AM - Arrival:  9:21 AM

Departure:  9:05 PM Arrival:  10:26 PM

Sheridan to Denver (May 9th):

Departure:  5:15 AM Arrival:  6:38 AM

Departure:  10:50 AM Arrival:  12:18 PM

Travelers may also consider flying to Billings, MT (1hr 55m (130 Miles)) or Gillette, WY (1hr 31m (103 Miles)) and renting a car. Flights to Gillette, WY and Sheridan, WY have limited seating.

    Wednesday 7th. 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

    The tour start at the historic University of Wyoming Research & Extension Center near Wyarno, Wyoming for a discussion on rangeland reclamation research and projects.

    The second stop will be at the Spring Creek Coal mine for presentations on mining operations and reclamation efforts.

    Box lunches will be provided on the tour. If selected sandwich options will be provided below.

    The banquet will be at the hosted at the historic Sheridan Inn. The Historic Sheridan Inn first opened its doors on June 18th, in the summer of 1893. Funded in part by the Burlington and Missouri Railroad and the Sheridan Land Company for a cost of $25,000.00. The Sheridan Inn's significance in our nation's history lies primarily in its direct connection with William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, who developed and sold the concept of the Inn to the railroad and as part owner, he directed hotel management.

    The Sheridan Inn is within walking distance (6 min (0.3 miles) from the hotel.
