    The initial report for the Governor's Invasive Species Initiative has been completed and submitted to the Governor's office for consideration. The roundtable will include participants discussing issues identified in the report and future actions based on the final report.

    An interactive discussion on the impacts regulating cheatgrass, through the Weed and Pest law, would have on the regulatory functions of various programs and growers in the state including the seed law, Game and Fish, WYDOT and industry reclamation.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Proceeds from the virtual bingo night will be used to assist with costs related to the virtual conference in addition to supporting the Wyoming Weed and Pest Council's scholarship program. The scholarships awarded include an annual scholarship to a Wyoming resident that is majoring in Agriculture or Natural Resources at a college of their preference.  Secondly the Council annual funds two scholarships available to family members of Weed and Pest Control District employees irregardless of their degree or college.  And finally, the Council funds an internship/scholarship to a seasonal employee that returns to work at a district and is looking to begin or advance a career in the Wyoming Weed and Pest.

Sponsor will be recognized during the virtual bingo night in addition to having their business logo published on the Wyoming Weed and Pest Council's website.
